राधा ने पहली बार अपनी आँखें खोलीं

जन्म के काफी महीने बीतने के बाद भी राधा अपनी ऑंखें नहीं खोल रही थी। इससे उनके पिता वृषभानु और उनकी पत्नी कीर्तिदा बहुत परेशान और उदास हो गए। वे मन ही मन सोच रहे थे कोई चमत्कार हो जाए और राधा ठीक हो जाए । इसी दौरान एक उत्सव पर कीर्तिदा ने अपनी सखी यशोदा को अपने घर आमंत्रित किया। यशोदा और नंद बाबा आये और कृष्ण अपनी माता यशोदा की गोद में थे।

कृष्ण खेलने के लिए अपनी माँ की गोद से नीचे उतरे क्योंकि उन्हें यह आभास हो गया था कि उनकी प्रिय राधा आस पास है । कृष्ण को अपने गोलोक के दिन याद आए, जब राधा उनके बिना पृथ्वी पर आने को तैयार नहीं थीं । तब कृष्ण के बहुत समझाने के बाद वह केवल इस शर्त पर पृथ्वी पर आने के लिए तैयार हुई कि जब तक वे उसके सामने नहीं आ जाते, वह अपनी आँखें नहीं खोलेगी।

राधा अपने पालने में लेटी हुई थी। बाल कृष्ण अपने छोटे-छोटे हाथों और पैरों पर धीरे-धीरे चलते हुए पालने तक पहुंचे और पालना पकड़कर खड़े हो गए और अपने छोटे हाथों से नन्ही राधा को छुआ। राधा ने तुरंत अपनी आँखें खोलीं जैसे कि वह पृथ्वी पर इतने वर्षों की गहरी नींद से सो रही हो।

कृष्ण राधा को देखकर मुस्कुराये। राधा भी अपने कृष्ण को देखकर मुस्कुरा दीं। इतने में यशोदा के साथ कीर्तिदा भी आ गयी। जब उन्होंने आँखें खोलकर राधा को देखा तो उनकी ख़ुशी का ठिकाना नहीं रहा। कीर्तिदा ने प्रसन्न होकर कहा, "यशोदा! आपका यहाँ आना हमारे लिए शुभ शगुन है।"

हर तरफ खुशियां छा गईं और सबने जश्न मनाया।

Radha opens her eyes for the first time

Even after many months of her birth, Radha was not opening her eyes. This made her father Vrishbhanu and his wife Kirtida very upset and sad. They were wishing for a miracle to happen and Radha would recover. Meanwhile, on a festival, Kirtida invited her friend Yashoda to her house. Yashoda and Nand Baba came and Krishna was in his mother Yashoda's lap.

Krishna got down from his mother's lap to play as he sensed that his beloved Radha was nearby. Krishna remembered his Golok days when Radha was not ready to come to earth without him. Then after a lot of persuasion by Krishna, she agreed to come to earth only on the condition that she would not open her eyes until he appeared in front of her.

Radha was lying in her cradle. Bal Krishna reached the cradle slowly on his tiny hands and feet and stood holding the cradle and touched little Radha with his tiny hands. Radha immediately opened her eyes as if she was sleeping from the deep sleep of so many years on earth.

Krishna smiled seeing Radha. Radha also smiled seeing her Krishna. Meanwhile Kirtida also came with Yashoda. When they opened their eyes and saw Radha, their happiness knew no bounds. Kirtida said happily, "Yashoda! Your coming here is a good omen for us."

There was happiness all around and everyone celebrated.
